Lucknow, March 3, 2026: In a major diversification move, Big FM, the radio network under Reliance Broadcast Network Limited, has officially announced its entry into the Indian real estate sector with the launch of a new vertical, ‘Big FM Realty.’ Backed by substantial financial resources, the company has unveiled an ambitious expansion roadmap, targeting cumulative revenues between INR 3,500 crore and INR 4,000 crore over the next three years as it scales across strategic national locations, the company said in a press statement.

The brand’s debut flagship project is centered on an expansive 80-acre land parcel situated on the Lucknow–Bahraich Road in Uttar Pradesh. This development alone is projected to generate an estimated INR 1,200 crore in revenue, underscoring the company’s confidence in the economic potential of emerging corridors. The site is poised to benefit from significant infrastructure upgrades, specifically the four-laning of NH-927. This project is expected to reduce travel time between Lucknow and Bahraich from two hours to approximately one hour, while simultaneously enhancing connectivity to the Nepal border and catalyzing regional commercial activity.

Planned as a large-scale mixed-use township, the Bahraich project will integrate premium plotted developments, group housing, and dedicated commercial and retail spaces. The master plan aims to move beyond conventional construction by delivering an integrated lifestyle destination that combines smart infrastructure and sustainable planning with modern amenities. The development is specifically designed to meet the evolving aspirations of middle-class and upwardly mobile buyers who are increasingly seeking high-quality residential options in high-growth zones.

Commenting on the milestone, a spokesperson for Big FM Realty stated: “The launch of Big FM Realty marks a defining chapter in our journey of growth and transformation. Having built a strong national identity rooted in trust, authenticity, and scale through our media heritage, we are now extending that same commitment to excellence into real estate. We aim to deliver thoughtfully designed, high-quality developments that blend innovation with practicality, ensuring lasting financial and lifestyle benefits for our customers. Bahraich, with its promising growth developments and strategic location, represents an exciting high-potential opportunity, and this project serves as the strong foundation for our wider vision in shaping modern urban living across India.”

By leveraging its existing brand credibility and nationwide presence, Big FM intends to translate its execution excellence from the media industry into the property domain. With the launch of Big FM Realty, the group begins a new chapter that blends significant capital backing with strategic land acquisition to influence the next phase of urban development across the country.
