3M India chooses WeWork’s facility as its headquarters
WeWork India on July 14 announced that the Indian subsidiary of global technology giant 3M has chosen to have its headquarters at its Prestige Central building in Bengaluru.
According to a press release, 3M India has taken a 17,000 sq ft area of flexible workspace at WeWork’s facility, for a two-year period. Fully furnished, this offers about 400 employees of 3m an entire floor, added the release.
Santosh Martin, Chief Revenue Officer, WeWork India, said, “Meeting the ever evolving needs of our members lies at the heart of WeWork’s diverse portfolio of flexible workspace offerings. In recent times we have seen an increased demand from all businesses, especially leading enterprises such as 3M who have recognised the inherent value offered by the flexible workspace model. We are delighted to welcome them as members to the WeWork family and look forward to a long term partnership.”
Sandhya Ganapathy, 3M India Head of Corporate Communications, Security and Real Estate, said, “Keeping in mind the rapidly evolving dynamics around the concept of the workplace, we at 3M India took bold and decisive action to move into WeWork . This arrangement offers convenience and flexibility for our people, in a contemporary and safe environment.”
