52nd Real Estate Agent Training Programme Commences in Lucknow

Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has launched its 52nd Real Estate Agent Training Programme at the Indian Literacy Board (ILB), Kanpur Road, Lucknow, according to an official press release. The four-day initiative aims to enhance transparency in the real estate sector and safeguard homebuyer interests by training 47 participants from across Uttar Pradesh on legal frameworks, professional standards, and ethical practices required for official agent certification.

The programme was inaugurated by UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy alongside Authority officials. UP RERA Secretary Mahendra Verma outlined the training schedule, encouraging full participation.
Addressing the session, UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy emphasized the need for active collaboration among promoters, agents, and the regulatory body. “Trust and transparency in the real estate sector depend on effective coordination among promoters, real estate agents and RERA. The active role of all three stakeholders is essential to protect homebuyers’ interests and strengthen confidence in the sector,” he said.
He noted that the module offers interactive discussions covering the RERA Act, the Apartment Ownership Act, stamp registration rules, and land laws. He also advised participants to exercise caution in financial transactions and avoid cash dealings exceeding Rs 20,000 to prevent complications related to illicit activities such as hawala, adding that legal literacy protects agents from unfair practices by promoters.
The initial technical sessions featured presentations on RERA rules by Principal Advisor Abrar Ahmed, property and contract laws by Adjudicating Officer Harish Tripathi, digital portal operations and project marketing by System Analyst Ganesh Mishra, and account regulations under money laundering prevention laws by Finance Consultant Sudhanshu Tripathi.
To maintain fairness during the final certification test, UP RERA has prohibited mobile phones, smartwatches, laptops, and other electronic devices in the examination hall. Successful candidates will be granted official agent registration upon paying the requisite fee.
Across 51 previous batches held in Lucknow and Greater Noida, over 3,500 candidates have registered, with 2,219 completing the training. To date, results up to the 49th batch have been announced, yielding 2,071 certified real estate agents.
