Smartworks and People 360D Announce Strategic Alliance to Accelerate India’s GCC Growth
Gurugram, March 25, 2026:
Smartworks Coworking Spaces Limited and People 360D have announced a strategic partnership aimed at providing an integrated solution for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). The alliance combines Smartworks’ position as India’s largest managed office platform with People 360D’s AI-powered talent solutions to offer a streamlined “plug-and-play” growth engine. This collaboration is designed to help global firms build, staff, and scale their Indian operations with increased speed and operational efficiency while reducing execution risks.
According to a press release, the partnership integrates People 360D’s recruitment capabilities with Smartworks’ enterprise-grade office infrastructure, allowing organizations to hire and house high-performance teams across multiple cities simultaneously. This initiative falls under the SmartVantage umbrella, a bespoke platform by Smartworks dedicated to accelerating GCC growth through large-scale campuses and a curated partner ecosystem. The move comes as the Indian GCC market, currently valued at approximately $65 billion, shifts from a cost-saving model to a hub for global product engineering and R&D.

Harsh Binani, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Smartworks, emphasized that global firms no longer view India as a mere cost center. “GCCs today are not evaluating India as a cost centre; they are building long-term capability hubs here. What they need is speed, reliability and execution depth. While talent and infrastructure have traditionally operated in silos, enterprises now expect both to come together seamlessly. Our partnership is built around that belief, supplemented by People360D’s proven industry leading comprehensive AI powered talent solutions specifically for GCCs. By combining large-format, ready-to-scale managed campuses with a strong talent acquisition engine, we are enabling global firms to move from decision to deployment in weeks, not months,” Binani stated.

Leadership at People 360D highlighted the necessity of accountability in modern infrastructure support. Anil Chintapalli, Chairman of People 360D, noted, “As GCCs are rapidly evolving into strategic innovation hubs, organisations require far more than standalone recruitment and standalone infrastructure support – they need an infrastructure partner who can take accountability to deliver an integrated talent and infrastructure platform at scale powered by AI. This partnership between Smartworks and People 360D will ensure that the evolving needs of GCCs are adequately addressed by delivering integrated solutions that help them to expand and operate seamlessly.”

The collaborative effort aims to address the complexities of scaling across India’s Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. Hemanth Gullapalli, Co-Founder & Director of People 360D, remarked, “Smartworks has demonstrated proven expertise in building and operating large-format, campus-scale managed offices across India, designed specifically for enterprise and GCC requirements. Coupled with People 360D’s talent expertise, this partnership will seamlessly facilitate and address GCCs’ varied needs relating to talent and infrastructure.”

The partnership is expected to redefine operational velocity for the more than 2,000 GCCs currently operational in India. Swaroopa Gorantla, Co-Founder & Director of People 360D, concluded, “By integrating scalable workspace solutions with strong talent capabilities, this partnership between Smartworks and People 360D will enable faster setup, seamless hiring, and efficient scaling – helping GCCs achieve greater operational efficiency, agility, and measurable business growth.”
