Krisumi Corporation Unveils ‘The Forest Reserve’ on Dwarka Expressway with ₹4,000 Crore Revenue Potential

Marking a decade of partnership between India’s Krishna Group and Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation, Krisumi Corporation has announced the launch of “The Forest Reserve,” the latest phase of its ultra-luxury development on the Dwarka Expressway. According to a press release, the new phase, spanning approximately 1.67 million square feet, is projected to generate a revenue potential of nearly ₹4,000 crore, further solidifying the developer’s goal of establishing a “mini-Japanese city” in the heart of India.
The project is deeply rooted in Japanese architectural and lifestyle principles, a vision championed by Ashok Kapur, Chairman of Krishna Group and Krisumi Corporation. During a media address on April 13, Kapur highlighted the evolution of the township, noting that approximately 25% of the resident families are Japanese. He emphasized that the collaboration combines disciplined Japanese project management with the trusted legacy of both parent groups to create a global living environment.
Reflecting on the partnership and the project’s growth, Ashok Kapur said, “I have maintained a close personal acquaintance with Japan for years and am deeply influenced by Japanese philosophy and design sensibilities. The financial trajectory of the development has been notable. From an initial launch price of ₹8,500 per square foot, Krisumi City now commands approximately ₹24,000 per square foot. Mr. Kapur added, “We are the pioneers of the Dwarka Expressway. Launching our first project at ₹8,500 per sq. ft. despite the connectivity delays at Dwarka Expressway at that time, today Krisumi City commands around ₹24,000 per sq. ft., reflecting strong value creation and market leadership. With proximity to the upcoming Global City and improving connectivity between Gurugram and Delhi, prices are expected to rise further.”
