Gurugram, April 13, 2026:

Marking a decade of partnership between India’s Krishna Group and Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation, Krisumi Corporation has announced the launch of “The Forest Reserve,” the latest phase of its ultra-luxury development on the Dwarka Expressway. According to a press release, the new phase, spanning approximately 1.67 million square feet, is projected to generate a revenue potential of nearly ₹4,000 crore, further solidifying the developer’s goal of establishing a “mini-Japanese city” in the heart of India.

Ashok Kapur, Chairman of Krishna Group and Krisumi Corporation.

The project is deeply rooted in Japanese architectural and lifestyle principles, a vision championed by Ashok Kapur, Chairman of Krishna Group and Krisumi Corporation. During a media address on April 13, Kapur highlighted the evolution of the township, noting that approximately 25% of the resident families are Japanese. He emphasized that the collaboration combines disciplined Japanese project management with the trusted legacy of both parent groups to create a global living environment.

Reflecting on the partnership and the project’s growth, Ashok Kapur said, “I have maintained a close personal acquaintance with Japan for years and am deeply influenced by Japanese philosophy and design sensibilities. We partnered with Sumitomo nearly a decade ago with a shared vision of creating a credible, meticulous mini-Japanese city. Today, Krisumi stands synonymous with superior quality, world-class design, and disciplined execution, backed by Japanese architecture, project management, and the trusted legacy of the Sumitomo and Krishna Groups.”

The financial trajectory of the development has been notable. From an initial launch price of ₹8,500 per square foot, Krisumi City now commands approximately ₹24,000 per square foot. Mr. Kapur added, “We are the pioneers of the Dwarka Expressway. Launching our first project at ₹8,500 per sq. ft. despite the connectivity delays at Dwarka Expressway at that time, today Krisumi City commands around ₹24,000 per sq. ft., reflecting strong value creation and market leadership. With proximity to the upcoming Global City and improving connectivity between Gurugram and Delhi, prices are expected to rise further.”

This sentiment of Indo-Japanese excellence was echoed by Mr. Yuji Kato, Co-CEO & Director of Krisumi Corporation, who said, “Over the past decade, Krisumi has become a symbol of Indo-Japanese collaboration, driven by a shared vision of excellence. Our approach rests on three pillars: world-class design, meticulous construction management, and a curated lifestyle. Together, these reflect a commitment to precision and quality as we set new benchmarks in modern urban living.”

Strategic location remains a cornerstone of the project’s appeal. Mr. Kunal Rishi, Chief Operating Officer of Krisumi Corporation, noted, “Krisumi City on Dwarka Expressway stands at the centre of a rapidly evolving connectivity ecosystem, seamlessly linked to key business districts and critical infrastructure corridors. This strategic positioning significantly enhances its appeal, firmly establishing it as one of the most aspirational and well-connected addresses in the region.”

The newly unveiled phase, “The Forest Reserve,” draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of Chinju-no-mori, or sacred shrine forests. Designed as a “forest in the middle of a metro,” it will feature expansive 3 LDK and 4 LDK residences ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 square feet. This phase follows the successful sell-out of previous residential and suite offerings, which were delivered well ahead of schedule.

Addressing the investment potential, Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi, President of Sales & Marketing at Krisumi Corporation, pointed out that the delivered phases are currently commanding rentals of approximately ₹100 per square foot. She remarked, “Strategically located at the epicentre of Gurugram’s growth corridor, Krisumi City reflects the vision of a Viksit Bharat. The project offers seamless connectivity to the Dwarka Expressway, Southern Peripheral Road, Manesar Urban Corridor, and NH-8—reinforcing Krisumi City’s biggest strength: location, location and location. It exemplifies both capital creation and capital appreciation.”
