YEIDA makes Rs 14 cr from plots sale

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) sold 10 commercial plots in Sector 22A at an average price of Rs 1.08 lakh per square metre, raising Rs 14.25 crore from the auction on Monday.
Officials quoted in the reports appearing in the media said plots ranging from 112 sq m to 140 sq m were up for auction.
The highest bid for a 140 sq m plot was Rs 1.96 crore, while the highest bid for a 112 sq m plot was Rs 1.44 crore. The reserve price for the plots had been fixed at Rs 98,634 per sq m.
They said the plots, which were being offered on a 90-year lease, would be developed by the Yamuna Authority and the construction would be carried out by the prospective allottees. Sprawling across nearly 2.5 acres, the commercial complex where the plots are available is located along the Yamuna Expressway corridor.
PC Gupta, CEO, YEIDA, said the remaining plots would be auctioned under a fresh scheme and the date would be decided at the next board meeting.
