Hyderabad, May 19, 2026: Indian cloud services provider BharathCloud has launched its first AI-ready Sovereign Cloud Centre at CtrlS Datacenters’ Rated-4 Hyderabad DC1 facility. The transaction was facilitated exclusively by JLL, an international property consulting firm, which acted as the strategic advisor to help establish the new datacenter ecosystem. The formal launch underlines a surging industrial demand for localized, secure, and highly scalable digital infrastructure to host accelerating AI workloads and meet strict data sovereignty regulations, BharathCloud said in a press release.

The state-of-the-art facility was officially inaugurated by Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder & CEO of CtrlS Datacenters. The Hyderabad deployment marks the beginning of an aggressive infrastructure roadmap for BharathCloud, which has committed to a $100 million (approximately ₹950 crore) investment plan over the next five years. The company’s expansion strategy aims to build a robust network of AI-ready sovereign cloud centers across key Indian metros—including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, and Pune—before eventually scaling services into Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
