Mumbai, July 2, 2026: Real estate development firm Inspira Realty has finalized a major transaction at its flagship 232-acre industrial and warehousing park, Inspira City, located in the Shendra MIDC area of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Under the newly executed agreement, Japanese automotive major AISIN AUTOMOTIVE HARYANA PRIVATE LIMITED has leased more than 9 lakh square feet of built-up space. To secure its future expansion and long-term operations within the region, the component manufacturer has also formally registered a dedicated land parcel within the industrial park ecosystem, Inspira Realty said in a press release.

The transaction represents the second-largest deal recorded at Inspira City to date, further establishing the manufacturing hub’s growing prominence among major international corporations seeking scalable industrial infrastructure in India. A subsidiary of Japan’s prominent AISIN Corporation, AISIN AUTOMOTIVE HARYANA PRIVATE LIMITED operates as a major Tier-1 supplier specialized in producing advanced drivetrain, brake, and chassis technologies. The upcoming facility at Inspira City will serve as the company’s third manufacturing plant in India, effectively broadening its manufacturing footprint to meet the escalating demands of the country’s domestic automotive sector.

We remain committed to creating sustainable, world-class spaces that power industrial growth in India.”

The industrial park now accommodates three separate Japanese corporate clients, illustrating a concentrated influx of foreign investments specifically from the automobile and allied engineering fields. Executives noted that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar is steadily establishing itself as a vital automotive cluster, benefited by highly competitive logistics connections and a reliable pipeline of regional technical talent.

Addressing the strategic motives behind the expansion, K. G. Mohan Kumar, Chairman of AISIN AUTOMOTIVE HARYANA PRIVATE LIMITED, said: “Indian automotive market is growing with a structural shift toward 2-pedal transmissions; AISIN will respond decisively by localized manufacturing in India, leveraging local components, equipment and talent to stay cost-competitive. Inspira City stands out for its high-quality industrial infrastructure, readiness of facilities, and strong connectivity along key logistics corridors, which are critical for our manufacturing and supply-chain operations. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar is emerging as an important industrial hub with access to skilled talent, proximity to key automotive clusters, and improved connectivity.”
