Welspun One Inks 15,232 Sq. Ft. Lease at WTC Thane With Novel Jewels Limited

New Delhi, July 26, 2026: Welspun One has signed an agreement with Novel Jewels Limited, an Aditya Birla Group company, for 15,232 square feet of space at World Trade Center Thane. Located within the developer’s Grade-A Urban Distribution Centre in Wagle Estate, the facility will support vault-enabled storage and distribution operations. The deal highlights an increasing shift among companies handling high-value inventory toward compliant, institutional-grade infrastructure that offers enhanced security and proximity to key consumption centers in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Welspun One said in a press release.

Developed as a mixed-use ecosystem, World Trade Center Thane integrates urban distribution, office spaces, commerce, and business infrastructure under a single address. The complex features advanced security protocols, life-safety measures, and business continuity systems tailored for high-value categories where inventory protection is essential. To streamline inbound and outbound logistics, the multi-level facility includes a ramp that allows 20-foot trucks to access loading docks across levels one through five.
“The partnership with Novel Jewels reflects the versatility of this platform and its ability to support businesses operating in high-value categories that demand security, accessibility and operational excellence. Strategically located in Wagle Estate, WTC Thane provides access to key consumption markets, enabling brands to stay closer to their customers. As the development evolves, we envision it emerging as an ‘India Design Center’ for leading brands,” said Neeraj Balani, Chief Customer Officer at Welspun One.

“Businesses today are looking for infrastructure that brings operations, accessibility and convenience together. WTC Thane has been planned as an integrated ecosystem where logistics, workplaces and business infrastructure complement each other, enabling occupiers to operate more efficiently. For Novel Jewels, this translates into secure infrastructure, seamless connectivity and proximity to key consumption markets within a single destination,” said Dinesh Dubey, Chief Operating Officer – Incity & Head of Product Innovation at Welspun One.
