Doctor Turn-Entrepreneur Ritesh Malik Acquires Bungalow in Delhi’s Exclusive Golf Links Enclave
New Delhi, August 2, 2026: Entrepreneur and investor Dr. Ritesh Malik has acquired a prime bungalow in Golf Links, one of the most exclusive and closely-held residential addresses in New Delhi’s prestigious Lutyens Bungalow Zone. The transaction was facilitated by Sotheby’s International Realty, Dr. Ritesh Malik said in a press release.
The acquisition marks Dr. Malik’s entry into a neighborhood historically dominated by established industrial dynasties and diplomatic families. His arrival adds to an expanding roster of modern tech and startup leaders securing homes within the zone, underscoring how India’s contemporary startup success is increasingly converting into legacy real estate assets.
The transaction continues an established relationship between Dr. Malik and Sotheby’s International Realty, which traces back to his tenure scaling Innov8 Coworking. Beyond personal acquisitions, real estate remains a core allocation for his family office, The Mangrove Holdings, which maintains institutional real estate investments alongside prominent developers such as Max Estates across Noida and Gurugram.
Located in the heart of the national capital, Golf Links stands out for its exceptionally low plot density, proximity to vital government institutions, and lush green cover. The neighborhood numbers some of India’s most prominent business families among its residents, including the Mittals, Hindujas, Goenkas, Jindals, and Ruias. In recent years, it has attracted new-age figures such as Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma and actor Sonam Kapoor. Dr. Malik plans to fully reconstruct the property over the next year before moving in.
A physician by training, Dr. Malik launched Innov8 Coworking in 2015 with backing from Y Combinator, expanding it to over 60 locations across India before selling the business to SoftBank-backed OYO. Through The Mangrove Holdings, he has since backed more than 125 startups across deep tech, mobility, health tech, and consumer brands, including Ather Energy, Agnikul Cosmos, and Blue Tokai. He also operates Radix Healthcare and Anardana Hospitality, serves as a co-founder and trustee of Plaksha University, sits on the advisory board of MIT’s Kuo Sharper Center, and founded the Alliance of Digital India Foundation.
