Savills Completes $1.1 Billion Acquisition Of Eastdil Secured LLC
New Delhi, August 5, 2026: International real estate advisor Savills Plc has officially completed its acquisition of global real estate investment bank Eastdil Secured LLC for an enterprise value of $1,112.5 million. The completion follows the initial transaction announcement made on March 12, 2026, and establishes the combined entity as a major force in global real estate advisory services, Savills said in a press release.
The transaction was funded through loan financing alongside the issuance of new ordinary shares in Savills, representing approximately 16% of the group’s enlarged share capital. These shares were issued to ultimate equity interest holders in Eastdil Secured, including institutional investors Guggenheim, Temasek, and Wells Fargo, as well as Eastdil Secured’s executive leadership and senior employees.
Effective immediately, the acquired entity will rebrand as “Eastdil Secured Savills” and operate as the group’s dedicated real estate investment bank while maintaining its core business model. The unit will focus on M&A advisory, continuation vehicles, joint ventures, sales, debt placement, structured credit, and loan sales. Combined, the organization stands as the number two global advisory firm for prime commercial real estate transactions exceeding $100 million.

The executive leadership of Eastdil Secured Savills features Roy H. March as Executive Chairman, D. Michael Van Konynenburg as Chief Executive Officer, and James McCaffrey as President. Both Van Konynenburg and McCaffrey will join the Savills Group Executive Board. The unit will maintain major headquarters in New York, Santa Monica, and London, integrating its 21 existing offices into Savills’ global network across more than 70 countries.
