Mumbai, September 11, 2026: Capacit’e Infraprojects Limited, in a joint venture with Tata Projects Limited operating as TCC Construction, announced the handing over of 552 units across Towers B and C in Cluster 1 of the Worli BDD Chawl redevelopment project. This update follows the earlier delivery of 1,380 units across Towers D, E, F, G, and H within the same multi-tower development, Capacit’e Infraprojects said in a press release.

The project represents a major component of Mumbai’s ongoing urban rehabilitation efforts. Public rehabilitation and affordable housing developments have historically faced challenges regarding construction standards and long-term durability. The joint venture implemented modern engineering practices, continuous material testing, and multi-tier quality checks across construction phases to meet safety and structural requirements for high-density urban housing.

The execution strategy relied on streamlined project management and updated building methodologies to maintain execution speed while working within a densely populated area. Advanced structural engineering was integrated to ensure the long-term resilience of the high-rise residential towers.

Rahul Katyal, Managing Director of Capacit’e Infraprojects Limited, commented on the milestone, stating, “On this milestone, handing over of the Tower B & C (Cluster 1) has approved the concept that affordable housing can be built to world-class standards without compromise.”

Addressing the broader progression of the development, Katyal added, “Following the successful handover of Towers D, E, F, G & H by Hon’ble Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, our focus remains on delivering safe, durable, and modern homes for the residents of Mumbai, reaffirming our capability to execute complex, large-scale urban infrastructure.”

The delivery marks further progress in transforming the historic BDD Chawls into modern residential accommodation as part of the state’s urban modernization plans.
