From Streets to Stadium: ICCPL Foundation Offers Underserved Children Football Experience

Ghaziabad, September 16, 2026: ICCPL Foundation, through its flagship CSR initiative Rahat with ICCPL, collaborated with Street to School to provide children from underserved communities the opportunity to experience football at Ghaziabad City FC, it said in a press release.
Conceptualized as ‘From Streets to Stadium,’ the event brought participating children to a professional sports facility where they learned fundamental skills, practiced on the field, and played together in structured teams. For many participants, it marked their first experience on a professional football ground. The program aimed to use sports to foster confidence, teamwork, discipline, and aspiration.
The partnership with Street to School helped connect the initiative with local children, focusing on learning, participation, and introducing core values associated with sports.

Speaking on the initiative, Ambika Saxena, CEO, ICCPL Foundation, said, “Sport can open up new possibilities for children by helping them build confidence, understand teamwork and discover their own potential. Through ‘From Streets to Stadium’, we wanted to give these children not just an opportunity to experience football in a professional environment, but also the feeling that new spaces and new possibilities are open to them.”
She added, “Rahat with ICCPL has always been about creating meaningful interventions that touch lives with dignity and compassion. We hope to continue creating experiences that encourage children to explore, participate, learn and, most importantly, dream bigger.”
Through the program, ICCPL Foundation reinforced its focus on expanding access to sports and recreational experiences for underserved youth to support their long-term development and confidence.
