ASSOCHAM Appoints Anshul Singhal Chairman of Task Force on Warehousing
New Delhi, September 29, 2026: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has appointed logistics and industrial real estate veteran Anshul Singhal as Chairman of its Task Force on Warehousing. Singhal currently also chairs ASSOCHAM’s National Council for Logistics and Warehousing, ASSOCHAM said in a press release.
The appointment comes as warehousing continues to grow rapidly within India’s real estate sector. Singhal has spent over a decade working in the country’s warehousing space, promoting a structured, institutional-grade approach across the logistics landscape. Across three prior platforms, he has originated, managed, and exited approximately Rs 14,250 crore of real assets while delivering 52 million sq. ft. of space, including 20 industrial and warehousing parks.
Commenting on his role, Anshul Singhal, Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Task Force on Warehousing, said, “India’s warehousing sector is entering a phase where scale must be matched by efficiency, resilience and technology. The Task Force will bring together industry stakeholders to identify practical solutions, strengthen standards and support policy dialogue. Our priority is to turn these conversations into actionable measures that strengthen India’s warehousing ecosystem and accelerate its next phase of growth.”
Under Singhal’s leadership, the newly constituted task force will deliberate on key challenges and emerging opportunities to bolster India’s warehousing infrastructure. The body aims to provide a platform for industry stakeholders to address modern infrastructure, technology adoption, efficient storage, supply chain integration, standards, sustainability, and value-added services. Additionally, the task force will work collaboratively to recommend policy measures and facilitate engagement between industry leaders and the government
