Black Opal Consultants Shares Hit Upper Circuit After BSE SME Debut

Mumbai/New Delhi, October 7, 2026: Shares of Black Opal Consultants Limited surged to hit the upper circuit at Rs 210 following their debut on the BSE SME platform on Wednesday, according to a press release issued by the company. At Rs 210, the stock traded 6.60 percent higher than its initial public offering (IPO) issue price of Rs 197.

The shares opened trading at Rs 200, delivering a 1.52 percent premium over the issue price, before climbing higher during the trading session.

The company’s Rs 55.08 crore IPO comprised a fresh issue of 22.38 lakh shares totaling Rs 44.09 crore and an offer for sale of 5.58 lakh shares totaling Rs 10.99 crore. The offer opened for subscription on September 29 and closed on October 1, with a price band set between Rs 185 and Rs 197 per share. The final issue price was fixed at Rs 197 per share, with a lot size of 600 shares.

The public offer witnessed robust investor demand, achieving an overall subscription of 68.71 times across 59,512 applications by the close of the bidding process. The Non-Institutional Investor category was subscribed 92.30 times, while the Retail Individual Investor segment stood at 60.15 times and the Qualified Institutional Buyer portion reached 59.77 times.

Khambatta Securities Limited served as the Book Running Lead Manager and Underwriter to the issue, alongside Share India as an Underwriter.
