Mumbai, October 9, 2026: India’s branded residences market has reached a valuation of approximately Rs 92,000 crore (USD 9.7 billion), making it the largest in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a press release issued by NOESIS Hotel Advisors at The Branded Residences Summit 2026 (TBRS 2.0).

The new market study, titled The Landscape of Branded Residences in India, Edition 3, highlights that India accounts for 21 percent of the region’s total USD 45.3 billion branded real estate market value, despite comprising only 15 percent of its overall units. The report projects the number of branded residence projects in India to expand from 47 confirmed developments today to 85 by 2028, expanding across 28 primary and emerging regional markets.

The report also reveals that branded homes in India command an average price premium of 32 percent over comparable non-branded projects in similar catchments, with market supply increasing 3.1 times in 2025 alone.

Mr. Nandivardhan Jain

Addressing delegates at the two-day summit held at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Nandivardhan Jain, Founder and CEO, NOESIS Hotel Advisors, and Curator, TBRS, said, “For two days, India’s developers, brands and capital tested this category against hard numbers. Indian buyers have settled one question: they will pay for a brand and they buy faster. The projects that take India to 85 by 2028 will be judged on what comes after the logo. Feasibility done before the brand is chosen. A partner picked for fit, not fame. Service run well for thirty years. That is the move from logo to lifetime value.”

The event convened over 350 delegates, including 250 real estate developers, 28 international and domestic brands, and key institutional financing partners. Industry participants examined core economic drivers across the project lifecycle, including feasibility, capital structures, sales velocity, and long-term asset management following project completion.
