New  Delhi, October 28, 2026: Organised storage firm StoreMyGoods has added 1.5 lakh sq. ft. of warehouse space over the last two months, bringing its total storage capacity to 4 lakh sq. ft., according to a press release issued by the company.

The expansion includes new leased facilities in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Noida, alongside the company’s entry into Chennai with its first facility in the city. The strategic locations aim to improve accessibility, allowing both individual and enterprise clients to manage seasonal demand and inventory fluctuations.

According to the press release, security and inventory management remain central to the company’s operations. Most of the new facilities are located within gated compounds with manual supervision and digital surveillance systems. StoreMyGoods also utilizes digital inventory tracking and plans to introduce designated customer areas within its warehouses to enhance user experience.

Speaking on the expansion, Sudeep Gupta, Founder of StoreMyGoods, said, “Demand in our existing cities has grown faster than we had projected, prompting us to revise our expansion plans. With increasing mobility and shrinking urban spaces, more people are looking for safe and reliable storage solutions. We are exploring new cities to make organised storage more accessible and cater to these evolving needs.”

He added, “The largely unorganised storage market is also seeing a growing preference for secure, organised facilities. Our customer portal enables item-level tracking, offering greater visibility and peace of mind. At the same time, the growth of small businesses under initiatives such as Make in India has created a need for flexible storage options, particularly for businesses that may not have the resources to maintain their own warehouses. We aim to cater to storage requirements of businesses of all sizes, alongside individual customers.”

The expansion forms part of the firm’s broader growth plan across India, with StoreMyGoods targeting an operational capacity of over 10 lakh sq. ft. by FY 29.
