Actor Gauhar Khan Purchases Apartments Totalling ₹10.13 Crore in Mumbai’s Versova
Mumbai, February 12, 2025: Indian actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder Gauhar Khan has purchased three properties worth a total of INR 10.13 crore in Versova, Mumbai, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration. All three apartments are part of the same residential project. While one transaction was registered solely in Khan’s name, the other two apartments were purchased along with her husband, Zaid Darbar. All transactions were registered in February 2025.
Versova, located in Mumbai’s western suburbs, is a well-connected residential micro-market with access to key commercial and entertainment hubs. It benefits from strong transport infrastructure, including the Metro, which provides connectivity to major business districts. Road networks such as Link Road and the Western Express Highway ensure seamless access to Andheri, Bandra, and other key locations. The locality also offers well-established social infrastructure, including reputed educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and retail developments, making it a preferred choice for both end-users and investors.
As per the IGR property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, all three properties were purchased in Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society Limited in Versova. In the purchase transaction registered solely under Gauhar Khan’s name, she bought an apartment for INR 2.80 crore. The carpet area was 1,104.75 sq. ft. (~102.64 sq. m.), and the built-up area was 123.20 sq. m. (~1,326.11 sq. ft.). The agreement also included one car parking space. The transaction incurred a stamp duty of INR 13.98 lakh and a registration charge of INR 30,000.
In another transaction, Gauhar Khan and Zaid Darbar jointly purchased two apartments in the same project, as per Square Yards’ analysis of IGR property registration records. The total cost of both apartments was INR 7.33 crore. The total carpet area was 2,393 sq. ft. (~222.32 sq. m.), and the total built-up area was 266.87 sq. m. (~2,872.56 sq. ft.). The agreement included a total of two car parking spaces. The transaction incurred a stamp duty of INR 43.97 lakh and a registration charge of INR 30,000.
According to Square Yards’ Project Data Intelligence, a total of five transactions amounting to a gross transaction value of INR 14 crore were registered with IGR in Shiv Kutir CHS between February 2024 and January 2025. Currently, the average resale property price in the project stands at INR 25,387 per sq. ft.
