Actor John Abraham Rents Out 3 Properties, to Earn Around ₹4.3 Cr Over 5 Years
Mumbai, June 12, 2025: Actor John Abraham has given on rent three properties located in the same residential complex in Bandra West for a total starting monthly rent of INR 6.30 lakh, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) at https://igrmaharashtra.gov.in. The deal was officially registered in May.
Bandra is recognised as one of Mumbai’s most established and high-value real estate markets offering a combination of premium residential and commercial properties. The locality comprises a mix of upscale apartments, heritage bungalows and boutique commercial developments, attracting both end-users and investors.
The area is well-connected through the Western Express Highway, Bandra railway station and upcoming Metro lines with proximity to major business districts such as Bandra Kurla Complex, Lower Parel and the international airport.
The locality also houses several high-net-worth individuals and public figures. Notable residents include actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Tripti Dimri and Ranbir Kapoor.
Abraham has given on rent three residential units in The Sea Glimpse Co-operative Housing Society. The rental agreement, registered with a stamp duty of INR 1,12,600 and registration charges of INR 1,000, includes a security deposit of INR 36 lakh.
Per Square Yards’ analysis, the lease tenure spans 60 months (five years). The agreed cumulative monthly rent for all three units starts at INR 6.30 lakh in the first year and escalates to INR 8 lakh in the final year. The agreement outlines a rent escalation of close to eight per cent annually for the first two years and around five per cent for the last two years. Over the full term, the cumulative rental value is estimated at approximately INR 4.3 crore.
