Agrizy Revamps Food and Beverages Innovation Lab to Strengthen R&D Capabilities and Accelerate New Product Development

Bengaluru/ New Delhi, July 15, 2026: Agrizy, a tech-led Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organization (CRDMO) for global Food & Beverage (F&B) and Wellness brands, has officially revamped its Convenience F&B Innovation Lab. The upgraded facility significantly strengthens Agrizy’s capabilities across formulation development, pilot validation, and commercialization. As F&B brands increasingly seek differentiated, science-backed products, the complexity of new product development has grown significantly. The upgraded infrastructure is designed to help global brands accelerate innovation from ideation to commercialization across high-growth food and beverage categories, Agrizy said in a press release.
Equipped with advanced product development and pilot-scale capabilities, the revamped lab enables brands to move from concept to commercialization with greater speed, precision, and consistency. With a growing portfolio of global customers, expanding product categories, and increasing demand for customized formulations, the facility is optimized to expedite product development and shorten go-to-market timelines. Agrizy aims to drive innovation across rapidly growing segments, including functional foods, nutraceutical beverages, gut-health products, sports nutrition, clean-label formulations, protein-based products, plant-based nutrition, healthy snacking, personalized nutrition, and next-generation convenience formats.
The enhanced R&D infrastructure enhances the company’s ability to support both domestic and international brands by developing products aligned with regional consumer preferences while meeting global quality and commercialization standards across Asian and international markets. The facility operates as a collaborative innovation platform, involving customers throughout the development journey from concept ideation and prototype evaluation to sensory testing and commercialization planning. This comprehensive approach is intended to improve overall project success rates.
The revamped laboratory significantly expands Agrizy’s R&D capabilities, which, combined with the company’s GenAI-powered formulation studio for concept ideation, enables the team to prototype, validate, and scale products. By simulating commercial manufacturing conditions early in the development process, Agrizy can reduce development iterations, optimize formulation costs, and accelerate new product development. This dual approach of advanced R&D and AI-driven design has already yielded significant results, supporting the launch of more than 30 products over the past year.
Commenting on the expansion, Vicky Dodani, Co-founder and CEO of Agrizy, said: “Over the last few years, we have seen a significant shift in what brands expect from reliable supply chain partners. Today, they are looking beyond formulations to partners who can support product innovation, technical validation, up scale manufacturing and commercialization under one roof. As Agrizy continues to expand across categories and global markets, strengthening our R&D capabilities became a strategic priority. The revamped lab enables us to take on more complex product development programmes while delivering the speed, consistency and quality that brands expect.”
Sustainability has also been embedded into the upgraded facility through targeted initiatives to maximize ingredient use, minimize development-stage waste, evaluate sustainable ingredient alternatives, and support environmentally responsible packaging. Looking ahead, Agrizy continues to build its collaborative ecosystem by working closely with startups, academic institutions, ingredient suppliers, manufacturing partners, and industry experts. The company expects this strategic investment to strengthen project conversion rates, improve customer retention, expand higher-value engagements, and ultimately accelerate commercialization across both domestic and international markets.
