AIPL Completes Full EDC Payment of ₹137 Cr to GLADA, Highest by any Ludhiana Developer

Chandigarh, February 11, 2026: Real estate developer, AIPL (Advance India Projects Ltd), has announced that it has completed the full and final payment of External Development Charges (EDC) of INR 137 Cr to the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), Government of Punjab. With this payment, AIPL has entirely cleared its EDC obligations, marking a significant milestone in the development of AIPL DreamCity, Ludhiana. This is one of the highest EDCs paid by any developer in Ludhiana.

AIPL also looks forward to a significant portion of the EDC funds, ideally around 50 per cent, to be channelled towards strengthening infrastructure in and around AIPL DreamCity, Ludhiana catchment, where on-ground infrastructure currently faces capacity constraints. Targeted deployment of these funds will be critical in improving connectivity, services, and overall urban efficiency in the area.
