Ashiana Launches Senior Citizens’ Premium Housing, Ashiana Vatsalya in Chennai
Delhi, 27 February 2024: Real estate developer, Ashiana, announced launch of Ashiana Vatsalya, a premium residential project for senior citizens in Chennai. Spanning across a 17.9 acres of prime land, Ashiana Vatsalya is designed to create a premium senior living community which redefines the retirement living, mentions a press release issued by the company.
The project is located inside Mahindra World City featuring 6.3 acres of landscape area along with 41,900 sq ft of clubhouse with dining, gym, swimming pool facilities. A total of 258 units are available in the first phase.
With a total project cost of Rs 400 Crores, this venture reflects the company’s commitment to delivering unparalleled living experiences to its esteemed customers.
The land for Ashiana Vatsalya is held under perpetual lease. The entire project will be constructed in 8 years and will be delivered in 5 phases, each to be completed in approximately 2 to 2.5 years.

“We are excited to embark on this journey with Ashiana Vatsalya, a testament to our dedication to excellence in creating a premium residential hub exclusively for senior citizens,” said Ankur Gupta, Joint Managing Director, Ashiana Housing.
“With this project, we aim to raise the bar and set new benchmarks in the retirement living. The investment for Ashiana Vatsalya is primarily funded through internal resources, supplemented by a loan of 8-10%,” added Gupta.
Ashiana Vatsalya is Ashiana Housing’s eighth senior housing project in the country and its second senior housing project in Chennai.
