Astera Ventures names industry veteran Prashant Hoskoté to board to drive global hospitality expansion

New Delhi, June 6, 2026: Astera Ventures, an Indian advisory firm specializing in strategic consulting and investments for high-growth emerging companies, has officially appointed Prashant Hoskoté as a Non-Executive Director to its Board of Directors, the company said in a press release.

The strategic appointment brings over 35 years of deep expertise in customer experience and quality leadership to Astera Ventures. Board members state that Hoskoté’s addition strengthens the firm’s leadership at a pivotal moment in its growth as a crucial enabler within the global hospitality sector.

Astera Ventures holds a significant stake in Sunday Proptech, a modern hospitality owning and operating platform. Sunday Proptech is dedicated to building and scaling hotels under the PRISM umbrella—the parent entity of major global brands including OYO, Townhouse, and SUNDAY. Currently, the platform owns and operates 38 hotels across the United States and is actively targeting rapid expansion across key markets in the US, India, and Europe by combining hospitality operations, real estate partnerships, and brand-led growth.

Hoskoté currently serves as the CEO of PH Factor, a board advisory and organizational excellence consulting practice based in the Delhi NCR region. His extensive corporate background includes serving as President of Global Engagements at Striking Ideas, and Senior Director of Quality, Service Excellence, and Innovation at Max India Group. He has also held prominent leadership roles at Mashreq Bank in Dubai, Standard Chartered Bank, and the Taj Group of Hotels, after launching his career with Qimpro Consultants, the Indian affiliate of the US-based Juran Institute Inc.

In addition to his corporate roles, Hoskoté has heavily contributed to national and international quality organizations. He has served on the National Board for Quality Promotion at the Quality Council of India, acted as Vice-Chair of ASQ’s Quality Management Division – Global (Asia and Australia), and chaired ASQ’s Organizational Excellence Technical Committee. Recognized globally for his contributions, he was named among the “50 Most Talented Quality Professionals” at the World Quality Congress in 2014 and continues to operate as an international speaker and published author.
