BHIVE Workspace Appoints Esha Ranjan as Chief Projects Officer Amid Flex Space IPO Surge
Bengaluru, July 30, 2025: BHIVE Workspace, India’s fastest-growing premium coworking and managed office brand, has appointed Esha Ranjan as chief projects officer (CPO). This key leadership addition comes as BHIVE sharpens its execution engine in preparing for its 2026 IPO.
Ranjan brings over 20 years of global project delivery experience, having executed more than 8 mn sq ft of commercial real estate across India, Australia and New Zealand. Her portfolio spans marquee projects for global brands such as Google, LinkedIn and IKEA with expertise in CapEx management, vendor strategy and design governance.
From High-Growth Operators to BHIVE’s IPO Journey
Ranjan held a long and impactful tenure at Smartworks, where she led the projects function during a period of rapid scale-up. Most recently, she served in a leadership capacity at Incuspaze before taking on the strategic challenge at BHIVE. Her experience with fast-growing, investor-backed workspace brands aligns well with BHIVE’s ambitions.
At BHIVE, she will lead project execution, CapEx optimisation, vendor management and the implementation of scalable governance systems. Her focus will be on building execution capability that can support national expansion and institutional investor expectations.

“What drew me to BHIVE was the founder Shesh’s bold and clear vision for what the future of workspaces should look like,” said Ranjan. “BHIVE is not just a workspace provider; it’s a lifestyle-led brand. My goal is to drive scale and systemisation while making execution a strategic advantage.”

Shesh Rao Paplikar, founder and CEO, BHIVE, said, “With Esha joining the leadership team, we’re doubling down on operational excellence and IPO readiness. Her experience with institutional-grade execution and her ability to lead high-performance teams will help us scale in the right direction as we move toward our 2026 IPO.”
Flex Space Sector Sees IPO Momentum
Ranjan’s appointment comes at a time of strong momentum in the flex space industry. With Smartworks and AWFIS going public, and companies like WeWork India and Indiqube reportedly preparing IPOs, investor interest in the sector is at an all-time high. BHIVE has already seen a surge of inbound interest from institutional investors, and her entry reinforces its commitment to readiness and reliability at scale.
Ranjan will also lead design standardisation aligned with BHIVE’s lifestyle-led positioning: ‘Elevate Your Lifestyle at Work’, a vision that blends premium design, wellness and productivity into the next generation of office space.
