Bulls go berserk post Repo Rate cut
Mumbai: The bulls were on a rampage on the stock markets after Reserve bank Of India Governor Raghuram Rajan announced a 0.25 per cent cut in Repo Rate. Realty stocks on Thursday led the rally on the markets. Among the sectoral indices, the Realty Indices of both the stock exchanges were the maximum gainers. S&P BSE Realty Index and CNX Realty surged by about 7% each. The rally of real estate stocks was led by HDIL scrip which gained more than 17% during the trading session. This was followed by Prestige stock which went up by almost 11%. DLF and IB Real Estate shares jumped by nearly 9%. Shares of Shobha Developers, Unitech, Anantraj, and Godrej Properties were among the other prominent gainers on the Realty Indices.
