Construction agency next week for new Metro link
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Noida Authority on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the 6.8-km metro link between City Centre and Sector 62.The construction agency for the project is expected to be selected next week.
A Noida Authority official was quoted in the media as saying, “Civil work of this proposed link was awarded in June and now an agency will be selected next week after inviting financial bids”.
The technical bids for the extension of this Metro link were finalised in June. Officials said that they were in the process of earmarking land for the viaduct and the proposed six stations along the corridor.
The proposed link will provide connectivity to Sectors 32,34, 35, Hoshiarpur, Sectors 51, 52, 71, Greater Noida Extension Marg, Sarfabad, Sectors 60, 61, 62, 63 and NH-24.
