Credai CSR Foundation sets up oxygen cylinder bank at its Noida office
Joining the war against COVID-19 pandemic, Credai CSR Foundation has started an oxygen cylinder bank which will be equipped with Type-D jumbo cylinders that will be provided to home-quarantine patients on returnable basis.
The cylinder bank became operational on May 6 at the Credai NCR Western UP office in Sector 63 Noida.
Further, under its ‘Umeed-Win over Pandemic’ initiative, the Credai CSR Foundation handed over 200 Type-D oxygen-filled cylinders to Rajeev Rai, SDM and Anil Kumar, Deputy Commissioner-Industries of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Credai coordinated with the state Government for airlifting 250 empty oxygen cylinders from Chennai by an IAF plane.
Pankaj Bajaj, President of Credai NCR, said, “We are grateful to the Indian Air Force and the state Government for transporting these jumbo life-saving oxygen cylinders on priority. A majority of the cylinders will be deployed with the help of the district administration and the authorities in the local hospitals and sector level COVID facilities.”
