Credai NCR builds sanitation units in four Bhiwadi schools
The Confederation of Real Estates Developers Associations of India – NCR Chapter (Credai NCR), with support of implementing partner – Habitat for Humanity India (HFHI), has constructed sanitation units for girls and female teachers in four Government schools of Bhiwadi region.
A workshop on ‘Behavior change and communication’ was also conducted for students to educate them on sanitation and hygiene, according to a press release issued by Credai NCR.
It said the toilet complexes were constructed as the earlier toilets were not in a state to cater to the increasing school strength. The project was also an attempt to encourage other associations to join the cause so that more toilets could be constructed in surrounding schools.
Manoj Gaur, President, Credai NCR, said, “As responsible developer community we believe in overall development of the society that will finally reflect in the hygienic lifestyle all around making India better. These steps will culminate not only into Swachh Bharat but also providing India with healthy future.”
Ajay Singal, Vice-President, Credai NCR, said such initiatives are important for creating awareness among people about sanitation and toilet hygiene.
