Speaking at the event, Manish Jain, President of CREDAI Pune, said, “Building a house is different from building a city. Every project contributes to shaping Pune’s future and the quality of its neighbourhoods. This responsibility begins with everyone on site, from construction workers to developers. Initiatives that recognise and reward workers encourage better workmanship, quality and pride in their work. I congratulate all the winners and organisers for recognising the people who play a vital role in building our homes and our city.”

J. P. Shroff, Vice President, emphasized that promoting safe, hygienic, and sustainable labor camps is essential to recognizing workers’ contributions and ensuring their well-being. Milind Talathi, Convenor of the Labour Welfare Committee, added, “A beautiful house is built with bricks and cement, but a better future is built through environmental responsibility, hygiene and care for people.”

Addressing the gathering, Prataprao Jadhav stated, “Construction workers are the true architects of our nation’s progress. Every road, bridge, and building stands as a living testament to their skill, grit, and dedication. True recognition, however, must extend beyond the job site—it requires safeguarding their well-being, dignity, and family welfare. Initiatives like this are vital to providing safer working environments, better healthcare, and humane living conditions.”
