Cummins India Posts 18% Revenue Growth to Rs 3,375 Crore in First Quarter

Pune, August 6, 2026: The Board of Directors of Cummins India Limited reviewed and approved the company’s standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, today, recording total sales of ₹3,375 crore for the first quarter of the fiscal year. The sales performance represented an 18% increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and a 14% rise on a sequential quarter-on-quarter basis. Domestic sales led the growth trajectory at ₹2,854 crore, jumping 22% year-on-year and 14% over the preceding quarter. Export sales stood at ₹521 crore, remaining flat compared to the same quarter last year while reflecting a 16% sequential increase over the previous quarter, Cummins India said in a press release.

On the profitability front, Profit Before Tax (before exceptional items) reached ₹721 crore, reflecting a margin of 21.4%, which was marginally lower by 0.7% compared to the same quarter last year and down 12% from the sequential quarter. Standalone Profit After Tax for the period was reported at ₹543 crore, yielding a net profit margin of 16.1%.

Commenting on the quarterly performance, Shveta Arya, Managing Director of Cummins India Limited, said, “The new fiscal year began on a steady note, supported by robust domestic demand across key end markets and our order execution contributing to revenue growth. Exports continue to be resilient in major regions that we supply despite the geopolitical developments. These headwinds led to higher commodity costs and inflationary trends impacting margins.
