Delhi Metro Subsidiary DMIL to Make Global Debut at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin
New Delhi, September 21, 2026: Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), will make its global debut at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, taking its mobility expertise and experience to an international audience, DMIL said in a press release.
Through its participation in InnoTrans, the world’s largest biennial transport technology trade fair held in Berlin, DMIL will showcase its capabilities across operations and maintenance, consultancy, project management, and advisory services. The organization plans to engage with transit authorities, infrastructure companies, technology providers, operators, and other mobility stakeholders to explore partnerships across the global urban transport ecosystem.
Sanjay Jamuar, Chief Executive Officer of Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), said, “InnoTrans 2026 provides an important platform to showcase the expertise of DMRC and DMIL on the global stage. DMIL focuses on delivering service solutions for metro, rail, and urban transit projects across domestic and international markets. Its parent organization operates a network spanning over 416 kilometers with more than 300 stations, handling nearly 6.5 million daily passenger boardings. Leveraging this background, DMIL aims to support international transit projects through feasibility studies, planning, implementation, testing, commissioning, operations, maintenance, asset management, and capacity building.
The expansion strategy is already underway, with DMIL submitting five international bids over the last three months. The company is exploring opportunities in West Asia and select European markets, while evaluating North America over time and tracking potential government-backed African partnerships.
During InnoTrans 2026, DMIL will exhibit at Hall 7.2C, Stand 240. The event will focus on emerging transport technologies, including autonomous public transport, cybersecurity, robotics, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence.
