Ambience Malls: Gurugram and Vasant Kunj

This Christmas, Ambience Mall, Gurugram, transforms festive décor into a moving celebration of art, culture, and identity. Inspired by India’s timeless draping tradition, the installation reimagines the Christmas tree through the fluid elegance and vibrant hues of Indian sarees, turning each fold into a tribute to womanhood, craftsmanship, and cultural continuity. At its core, the Saree Christmas Tree celebrates women and Indian artisans while championing sustainability, with the saree emerging as a symbol of grace, resilience, and togetherness.

Meanwhile, at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, Christmas unfolds through the quiet elegance of India’s historic Bidri craft, transformed into a striking festive installation. Originating in Bidar, Karnataka, this 14th-century metal art, known for its deep black finish and intricate silver inlay, brings a sense of understated opulence to the season. By reinterpreting a traditional technique in a contemporary festive context, the installation highlights how culture and creativity can coexist seamlessly. The dramatic play of black metal and luminous silver captures the very essence of Christmas, while paying homage to generations of artisans who have kept this craft alive.

DLF Mall of India, Noida

At DLF Mall of India, the festive spirit takes on a grand, larger-than-life presence this Christmas with the unveiling of a spectacular 33-foot Longines Christmas Tree, installed for the first time in India. Towering over the mall’s atrium, the illuminated installation has instantly transformed the space into a dazzling festive zone, drawing families, children, and young visitors into its glow. As lights shimmer and colours come alive, the tree has emerged as the season’s biggest crowd-puller and a must-visit photo destination, with visitors lining up to capture moments that have quickly taken over social media feeds. Celebrated as Noida’s newest and most striking Christmas photo point, the installation will remain open throughout the festive season.

AIPL: Joy Gallery, Joy Central & Joy Street

Across its retail destinations, AIPL is set to turn December into a vibrant, family-friendly celebration with a dynamic lineup of festive experiences spread across its Joy properties. The festivities began at AIPL Joy Gallery with a lively fashion walk, followed by an engaging illusionist show with two performances, and cheerful mascot meet-and-greet sessions.

The celebration then moves to AIPL Joy Central on 20th and 21st December, where the destination will come alive with high-energy venue parades and stage performances, headlined by a colourful Rio Carnival parade featuring mirror men, international carnival artists, and a whimsical ensemble of performers, including a dwarf, clown, juggler, and dragon. The excitement continues on 21st December with a dramatic fire performance by MAKA.
