Deliverable on Renewable: K2 Infragen Ltd backs 2 MW Solar Plant in Haryana
Gurugram, December 12, 2025: K2 Infragen Ltd has announced the development of 2 MW solar plant in Haryana through its associate company M/s Animaus Energy Pvt Ltd. K2 Infragen Ltd recently acquired 49 per cent stake in Animaus Energy which has already executed a Power Purchase Agreement with Haryana Power Purchase Centre at a tariff of INR 2.99 per KWh.
K2 Infragen Ltd also plans to make M/s Animaus Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary in the future after complying all the regulatory requirements. K2 Infragen Ltd shall also take care of complete development of this 2 Mega watt solar plant in Haryana. K2 Infragen has definite plans to increase renewable energy assets with annuity revenues and diversifying into TBCB model in FY 26-27.

K2 Infragen is looking for aggressive growth of its RE portfolio through mergers & acquisitions and have been exploring multiple avenues in this regard. Commenting on his development, Vineet Sharma – Vice President – Strategy & Corporate Affairs at K2 Infragen Limited and also Executive Director at M/s Animaus Energy said: “K2 Infragen is poised to create value across renewable energy & related TBCB based infrastructure domain it operates delivering exponential growth in the coming years. We are highly ambitious on the plans to develop RE assets for the organization further and that shall certainly help in creating shareholder value in the longer run. Tariff based competitive bidding-based projects and larger solar projects under IPP model shall not only help drive regular annuity income but will help drive higher valuation for the organization with quality assets.”
K2 Infragen has been at the forefront of several major infrastructure initiatives in India. The company is striving to play a key role in connecting India through NHAI projects, contributing to critical road development projects across the country. The company is also a key player in the Jal Jeevan Mission, working to enhance water supply infrastructure and improve access to clean drinking water nationwide. In addition to these flagship projects, K2 Infragen is now an aggressive player in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Railway projects. K2 has done direct biddings for tenders valued approximately INR 450 crore in H1 FY 25-26 of which the results are expected soon.
