DHFL appoints Mehta as CEO

Housing finance company DHFL has appointed Harshil Mehta as the CEO of the company. Mehta, who is currently the MD of Aadhar HFC, will be responsible for all businesses and operations of DHFL. He will take charge of his new responsibility from Saturday.
DHFL, the flagship of Wadhawan Global Capital, is the second-largest private-sector home finance provider.
Announcing the decision, Kapil Wadhawan, CMD of DHFL, said: Appointing Harshil as the CEO of DHFL is the culmination of two-month processes of aligning the company’s top-level structure to its growing book. Harshil will lead the team which will drive our ambitious plans over the coming years.”
Speaking on the occasion, Mehta said: “I am excited to come on board DHFL at this juncture. My task is to maintain the current growth rate and also the excellent portfolio quality while preparing the organisation for the future.”
Mehta brings over 25 years of experience across consumer and financial services businesses.
An MBA (Finance) from the Graduate School of Business, Mississippi State University, US, Mehta has served in many prominent entities.
