DLF’s Rajeev Talwar is new head of Naredco

Realty major DLF’s CEO Rajeev Talwar has been elected as the new Chairman of the realtors’ body National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco).
According to a news agency report, Talwar was unanimously elected at the 103rd Governing Council Meeting of Naredco held on Thursday.
Talwar, who joined DLF in 2006, completed his Master’s degree from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University. He started his career as a Probationary Officer in the State Bank of India and was selected for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1978. Talwar had held many important positions in the Central and state governments before joining DLF.
He is also the Chairman of real estate committees at various industry chambers and associations.
