DMRC sets up office in Noida
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Wednesday setup an office at Ganga Shopping Complex, Sector 29, Noida, to expedite the 28-km long Noida- Greater Noida Metro link project. A project director from DMRC will be posted at the Noida office to monitor and execute the project.
“DMRC is busy in selecting a private agency that will build a depot for the proposed Noida-Greater Noida Metro link. DMRC is on its way to finalise an agency in the coming few days as it is assessing the technical expertise of some of the agencies that have shown interest in the project,” said a DMRC official.
Work for the Metro link will begin around the first week of April. DMRC is working in association with the newly-formed Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) that will operate this link after it gets completed by 2018.
