During Hearing, Parties Must Maintain the Discipline for Smooth Court Work: UP RERA

Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar, July 5, 2024: during the hearing procedure of UP RERA e-courts, the parties must maintain discipline and etiquette during the proceedings of the bench to ensure smooth proceedings of the benches, says a communication by the UP RERA.
U.P. RERA has the facility of e-courts for the convenience and benefit of all stakeholders. In e-courts, the parties can participate in the proceedings of the bench from their actual location. But on many occasions it has been observed that the presiding officers of RERA and the concerned parties face inconvenience and distraction in the proceedings.
Instructions have been issued by the Authority regarding dress code, discipline and etiquette for the parties and their authorized representatives during hearings before U.P. RERA and its benches. In these guidelines, arrangements have been laid down regarding the dress to be worn by advocates, chartered accountants, company secretaries, cost accountants and parties appearing for hearings in U.P. RERA Authority and its benches, electronic gadgets to be used during hearings through video conferencing and records to be uploaded on the web portal of the authority, etc., which are mandatory to be followed.

Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman U.P. RERA informed in this regard that stakeholders should take care of their own as well as others’ convenience. This will ensure smooth functioning in e-courts, will be beneficial for all stakeholders and the parties will be able to present their views effectively and clearly without any hindrance.
