Mumbai, August 19, 2026: Construction technology platform Electromech Infraprojects Ltd. (EIL) has appointed Adnan Ansari as AVP – Data Centre Solutions and Growth. Ansari brings approximately ten years of overall industry experience, including eight years specializing in data center and electrical construction projects. In his new role, he will oversee business development, estimation, client engagement, and commercial operations within the company’s digital infrastructure division, Electromech Infraprojects said in a press release.

The appointment aligns with Electromech’s strategy to scale its execution capabilities amid expanding data center investments in India and international markets. Ansari’s career history includes technical and operational roles at Daanish Electricals & Sales Private Limited, Listenlights Pvt. Ltd., JLL, and NTT Global Data Centers. His experience spans the data center project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, site execution, commissioning, and client management.
Commenting on his appointment, Adnan Ansari, AVP – Data Centre Solutions and Growth, Electromech Infraprojects, said, “India’s data centre sector is entering a period of significant growth, but the opportunity will increasingly depend on how effectively the industry can execute increasingly complex projects. AI is also changing the infrastructure requirements of data centres, with higher rack densities and greater adoption of advanced cooling technologies. At Electromech, I look forward to strengthening our data centre business, building scalable processes and working closely with customers to support the delivery of future-ready digital infrastructure. I am also excited to contribute to the company’s expansion across India and the GCC.”
The appointment comes at a time when artificial intelligence and cloud computing adoption are altering technical requirements for digital infrastructure. Higher power densities and liquid cooling systems have increased engineering complexity, driving demand for integrated execution across electrical, mechanical, and project delivery disciplines.
In addition to domestic operations, Ansari will support Electromech’s expansion strategy across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market, working alongside the company’s UAE-based team on business development and project bidding. The leadership addition forms part of Electromech’s broader long-term strategy to expand organizational capacity, with the firm targeting a 50-to-60-fold increase in revenue by 2030 through process standardization and system scaling.
