EQBAC Unveils Dollar-Denominated Model Portfolios for India Inbound Investment Through GIFT City

Mumbai, October 13, 2025: Global investment platform EQBAC has launched dollar-denominated model portfolios for Non-Resident Indian investors through GIFT City, Gandhinagar, India’s first International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). The portfolios are structured around two distinct risk profiles—aggressive and moderate—offering investors the flexibility to choose how they want to participate in global markets.
EQBAC enables resident Indians to invest in dollar-denominated assets such as global equities, ETFs, and bonds, with greater ease and higher limits than those permitted under the standard Liberalised Remittance Scheme. This initiative simplifies access to international markets and supports broader portfolio diversification.
The aggressive portfolio allocates 95 to 100 per cent to equities, offering diversified exposure across US large-cap stocks, technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors, small caps, China, and Europe.
To balance this growth-oriented approach, it includes a small allocation to gold as a defensive hedge. The moderate portfolio, on the other hand, follows a more balanced approach, with 50 to 70 per cent invested in fixed income and commodities such as U.S. Treasuries, arbitrage funds, and gold, and the remaining portion in equities across the U.S., Europe, China, and global opportunity funds. A higher allocation to gold provides an added layer of stability for long-term wealth preservation.
By combining innovation-led sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and global technology with the resilience of US Treasuries and gold, EQBAC’s model portfolios are designed to deliver both growth and stability. They offer resident Indians a structured and compliant pathway to invest in dollar-denominated assets while diversifying beyond traditional domestic markets.

Commenting on the launch, Satinder Aggarwal, Founder of EQBAC, said, “Through this offering, we are making dollar-based global wealth creation simpler and more accessible for Indian investors. Our model portfolios balance innovation-led growth with resilient assets, enabling individuals to diversify confidently and build long-term wealth.”
Beyond regulatory convenience, GIFT City offers significant tax benefits, including income tax exemptions for eligible units and zero GST on offshore transactions. Oversight by the IFSCA ensures transparency and investor protection in line with global standards.
By channelling investments through GIFT City, EQBAC provides Indian investors with compliant, cost-effective access to diversified global portfolios. This structure transforms what was once a complex and expensive process into a seamless pathway for building globally diversified wealth.
EQBAC is a global investment platform based in Mauritius, with an active presence in India and the UAE. The company offers access to international investment opportunities, including mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, pre-IPOs, and structured products. It operates under a Full Service Dealer Broker license from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius and has established partnerships with global investment and distribution firms.
