First R&M Podium a huge success

The first edition of R&M Podium, organised by Realty & More, at Hotel Radisson Blu in Greater Noida on Friday, turned out to be a great success.

The Podium is a discussion forum floated by R&M magazine on completion of three years of its uninterrupted publication. Topical issues concerning the real estate and allied industries will be discussed periodically at the forum, which will also provide an opportunity to industry players and Government representatives to interact with each other in a free and frank atmosphere.

Top developers from Delhi-NCR and prominent allied industry players participated in the first R&M Podium to pool their heads together on three key issues confronting the industry today. NMRC, MD, Santosh Yadav, in his opening remarks, lauded the efforts of R&M to have launched a constructive knowledge forum and dwelt at length on the fast pace at which the Noida-Greater Noida Metro was coming up in the region. Yadav also spoke of the many firsts that this 30-km Metro line was set to achieve under his chairmanship.

The three panel discussions were so riveting that the audience in the packed hall egged on the panelists to prolong the debates. The Q&A sessions that followed the discussions were equally fruitful and engrossing.

The topics of discussion were ‘How to get the investor back’, ‘Design and technology for construction of smart homes’ and ‘Managing energy efficient smart homes.’  Prominent among those who took part in the discussions were Manoj Gaur, MD, Gaursons; Deepak Kapoor, Director Gulshan Homz and Salil Kumar, ED, Assotech Realty.

A rock band entertained the audience at the end of heavy brainstorming and the evening concluded with sumptuous dinner.
