Fortune Hotels Appoints General Managers for Pahalgam and Bhimtal Properties
Pahalgam, September 4, 2026: Fortune Hotels, a member of the ITC Hotels’ Group, has announced leadership appointments across two of its mountain properties, naming Manjur Alam as General Manager, Fortune Pahalgam and Ravindra Kumar Joshi as General Manager, Fortune Lakeview Bhimtal, it said in a press release.
Manjur Alam brings more than 18 years of experience in hotel operations to his new role, with expertise spanning room operations, revenue management, guest experience, and team leadership. In his position at Fortune Pahalgam, he will oversee property operations, drive business performance, elevate service standards, and cultivate a high-performing team culture. Prior to joining Fortune Hotels, he served as Director of Rooms at Crowne Plaza Pune, where he led room operations and revenue management responsibilities. Over his career, he has also held key operational roles with major hospitality brands, including IHG, Radisson, and Hyatt.
At Fortune Lakeview Bhimtal, Ravindra Kumar Joshi takes charge with over three decades of hospitality experience in hotel operations, luxury resort management, profit-and-loss management, guest satisfaction, and stakeholder engagement. In his new role, he will manage property operations, commercial strategy, guest experience, and overall business growth, while working to strengthen the hotel’s market presence. Throughout his career, he has worked with prominent brands such as Hyatt Regency, Le Méridien, Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Meerak Hotel, and Country Inn Resorts, where he oversaw the transformation of Country Inn Bhimtal into a flagship destination resort. Additionally, he has served as Secretary of the Regional Hotel Association, contributing to broader hospitality initiatives across Uttarakhand.
