GDA to seal illegal use of commercial space in Indirapuram
The Ghaziabad Development Authority has ordered its enforcement wing to seal all those commercial spaces meant for convenient stores in residential societies which are being illegally used for other purposes in Indirapuram.
According to the sources, GDA conducted a survey and found that space for convenient stores in residential societies were being used for other purposes like showrooms, offices or banks without seeking permission from the department.
Following the survey, GDA has already issued notice to 3,000 violators in the trans-Hindon area, asking them to shut such unauthorized use of property or face action.
“RWA of a building has complained at GDA office against violation of construction norms. The basement area, where shops have been constructed, is marked for convenient stores in the building plan cleared by GDA. Complaints of violation of construction norms are frequent. GDA will seal unauthorised constructions. “said SP Gupta, OSD (GDA).
Survey will be further conducted in several phases to cover the entire unauthorized structures in Indirapuram area.
