Godrej Enterprises Group Selected to Secure Bhogapuram International Airport
New Delhi, July 30, 2026: The Security Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group has secured mandates from GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport Limited and Larsen & Toubro to deploy integrated security solutions at Bhogapuram International Airport. Valued at approximately Rs 6 crore, the contract covers a comprehensive suite of advanced security technologies designed to strengthen perimeter protection, vehicle screening, access management, and threat detection across the greenfield aviation ecosystem, Godrej Enterprises Group said in a press release.
The dual mandate from both the airport operator and the EPC contractor reflects Godrej’s collaborative engagement across the infrastructure value chain. Under the contract, Godrej will deploy an extensive portfolio of physical and electronic security systems, including blocking bollards, boom barriers, Under Vehicle Scanning Systems, turnstiles, swing lane barriers, Explosive Vapour Detectors, Liquid Explosive Detectors, Non-Linear Junction Detectors, bomb disposal suits, and Real-Time Viewing Systems.
The project is the result of close planning with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including airport authorities, consultants, project management teams, end users, and the Central Industrial Security Force. This agreement further expands Godrej’s existing footprint across India’s aviation sector, where it already provides security solutions for major hubs including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Cochin International Airport, and several other regional facilities.
