Greenply extends E-0 to mid-range portfolio
Greenply Industries has introduced a range of zero emission (E-0) plywood to safeguard the indoor air quality by reducing formaldehyde emission to negligible or equal to zero.
According to a press release, the company not only intends to offer products that stand the test of strength and durability but meet the global standards when it comes to health safety. To this effect, it has acquired international accreditation from the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), said the release.
It further said that Greenply has addressed the problem of indoor air pollution by extending the E-0 innovation from the premium portfolio to the mid-range portfolio with an aim of creating healthy homes.
Manoj Tulsian, Joint Managing Director & CEO, Greenply Industries Limited, said, “The company has made considerable investments on implementing the E-0 innovation across its manufacturing units towards R&D, testing mechanism, resin formulation and implementation. It is currently investing in further research through various toxicology studies and health experts.”
