Highways Infrastructure Trust Rebrands as Vertis Infrastructure Trust

Mumbai, June 26, 2025: Highways Infrastructure Trust (HIT), a SEBI-registered infrastructure investment trust, announced on Thursday its rebranding to Vertis Infrastructure Trust (Vertis) effective June 18. Derived from the Latin word verto, meaning ‘to turn’, or ‘to evolve’, the name signifies a forward-looking mindset of thoughtful transformation. Vertis represents a renewed ambition to reimagine infrastructure asset management—bringing strategy and execution together to deliver enduring value across the board.
Since its listing in 2022, Vertis has grown significantly to become one of the leading highways InvITs in the country with assets under management (AUM) multiplying fivefold to INR 25,000 crore. Its portfolio has expanded from 6 to 27 operational road projects across nine states, including several marquee acquisitions. This rebrand reflects the growth the brand has undergone and is guided by its brand philosophy and North Star: “Pursue the Next”.
The new identity, effective immediately, features a refreshed visual system. At its core is the ‘Wheel of Momentum’, a dynamic logo symbolising purposeful interdependence, progress and continuous motion. Vertis also introduces ‘Evolution Red’ as its signature colour—a bold, confident hue wrapped in growth and ambition symbolising courageous transformation and the intent to lead from the front.

“This rebranding is a peek into our future as we embark on the next leg of our journey. It also denotes the maturing of our purpose and ethos—to deliver consistent, sustainable value to our investors, stakeholders and the communities we serve. We’re excited to hit more milestones as we continue to ‘Pursue the Next’,” said Gaurav Chandna, Executive Director and Joint CEO, Vertis Infrastructure Trust.

Echoing the sentiment, Zafar Khan, Executive Director and Joint CEO, said, “The unveiling of our new brand marks a defining moment in our journey—one that reflects both our ambition and our evolution. It is rooted in our legacy yet designed for the future and is inspired by our commitment to ‘Pursue the Next’.
He added, “The new brand identity represents more than a visual change—it signifies our intent to break the mould, challenge conventions and build deeper, more meaningful relationships with our stakeholders. We are proud to lead this transformation with renewed clarity, a stronger purpose and a relentless focus on performance.”
