House of Hiranandani’s Commercial Property in Thane, Centaurus, Acquires WiredScore Pre-certification

Mumbai, June 3, 2024: House of Hiranandani, is one of the first developers in India to acquire WiredScore pre-certification for its commercial property. The company also aspires to achieve SmartScore certification for the same building, says a press release issued by the company. Both certifications are globally acclaimed for recognizing excellence in digital connectivity and smart features in properties.

Centaurus is a 21-storey commercial development located in Hiranandani Estate, Thane. While the building features robust digital connectivity infrastructure, the advanced smart BMS infrastructure, supported by AI, IoT, and ML platforms, together provide a seamless working environment, prioritizing sustainability and resiliency at the same time.

WiredScore, the organisation behind the WiredScore and SmartScore certifications, an internationally recognised digital connectivity and smart building rating system for real estate, evaluates properties on multiple parameters before conferring the prestigious certificates.

It evaluates the infrastructure for digital connectivity to determine the diversity, capacity, and security provided within the building. It also assesses the internet and mobile connectivity both inside and around the building to ensure quick connections for occupants and better mobile coverage and performance. Additionally, it measures the resilience of the digital infrastructure through provisions like power backup and flood protection measures. WiredScore ensures the readiness and ongoing management of the infrastructure by maintaining it in optimal condition at all times.

In SmartScore, the organisation evaluates the presence of smart and advanced technologies that can provide an inspirational, convenient, frictionless experience in the building.  In Smart buildings, it ensures the presence of smart technology solutions to measure and optimize the operating carbon of the building. It confirms if the building is operationally efficient and is future ready so that it can evolve with changing technologies and eliminates the risk of obsolescence.

Joseph Martin, CIO, House of Hiranandani. said, “At House of Hiranandani, we take immense pride in being one of the first developers in India to be pre-certified for the WiredScore – the only global certification body for digital connectivity – for our digital and communication infrastructure at Centaurus, Hiranandani Estate, Thane.
