Noida, May 29, 2026: As soaring temperatures and a severe heatwave continue to disrupt daily life across the National Capital Region, the ICCPL Foundation has stepped in to provide direct relief to vulnerable outdoor workers. Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign, “Rahat with ICCPL,” the organization launched a Thirst Relief Initiative aimed at helping high-risk communities stay hydrated during the extreme weather, ICCPL Foundation said in a press release.

The foundation’s teams deployed to major labor hubs, construction sites, and busy public areas across Vaishali, Indirapuram, and Noida Sectors 59, 62, and 63. Cold beverages were distributed directly to those bearing the brunt of the open-sky conditions, including construction workers, daily wage laborers, rickshaw pullers, and underprivileged children.

Highlighting the necessity of the drive, Ambika Saxena, CEO of ICCPL Foundation, said, “The impact of extreme heat is most severe on those who work outdoors throughout the day. Through our ‘Rahat with ICCPL’ campaign, we aim to provide immediate relief to such individuals so they can cope better with the harsh conditions. We believe that social responsibility goes beyond awareness—it is equally important to extend direct support when it is needed the most. We look forward to continuing similar relief and support initiatives in the future to ensure timely assistance reaches vulnerable communities.”

The initiative marks another step in the foundation’s three-year history of aiding marginalized groups and supporting national welfare programs like “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan” and “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.” Beneficiaries on the ground expressed gratitude for the drive, noting that the timely distribution offered significant comfort against the harsh seasonal elements.
