ITC Hotels to Expand in North-East With 90-Room Fortune Select in Guwahati


New Delhi, May 29, 2026: ITC Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a 90-room Fortune Select property in Guwahati, Assam, marking a strategic expansion into the high-growth markets of India’s North-East region. The premier gateway city serves as a primary hub for regional commerce and travel, making it a key focus for the hospitality group’s growing footprint, the company said in a press release.
Scheduled to open its doors in April 2028, the upcoming hotel will feature well-appointed rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, and modern banquet and conferencing facilities. The property is being designed with a range of upscale amenities tailored to meet the changing demands of contemporary business and leisure travelers.
