KG Builders Expands Western Chennai Footprint with ₹400 Crore Plotted Development Launch

Chennai, March 13, 2026: Legacy real estate developer KG Builders, a mainstay in the Tamil Nadu property market for over four decades, has announced the launch of two major plotted residential communities in Western Chennai. The new projects, KG Fields of Fortune in Kuthambakkam and KG Kingdom of Prosperity in Valarpuram, represent an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of approximately ₹400 crore. These developments form a significant part of the company’s 120-acre land bank in a region rapidly emerging as a primary residential corridor, the company said in a press statement. 

The strategic placement of these projects along the Valarpuram-Thirumazhisai growth corridor aligns with several high-impact infrastructure milestones. The area is currently benefiting from the convergence of the Poonamallee Metro extension under Chennai Metro Phase II, the Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway, and the upcoming Kuthambakkam Bus Terminus. Furthermore, the proposed Greenfield Airport at Parandur is acting as a major catalyst for long-term appreciation, drawing significant interest from both institutional investors and individual homebuyers.

This expansion follows the successful sell-out of the developer’s previous project in the area, KG Kingdom of Joy. The rapid absorption of that inventory has reinforced KG Builders’ strategy to focus on infrastructure-led growth.

The two new communities offer distinct advantages based on their specific locales. KG Fields of Fortune in Kuthambakkam is designed as a master-planned community featuring landscaped spaces and internal road networks, positioned to gain directly from the Thirumazhisai Satellite Township. 

Meanwhile, KG Kingdom of Prosperity, situated along the Chennai-Bengaluru Highway, targets those looking for proximity to industrial hubs and educational institutions. Both projects emphasize organized infrastructure and clear titles, addressing a critical demand for secure land investments in the suburban market.
