Commenting on the performance, R.V. Gumaste, Managing Director, KFIL, said: “In Q2 FY 2026-27, KFIL maintained a good momentum, registering a 17% year on year revenue growth to INR 2,047 Crore and a 4% year on year increase in EBITDA to INR 223 Crore. This growth was anchored by optimized capacity utilization, highlighted by a record steel volume of 26,606 MT and a historic milestone as gross casting sales volume crossed the 50,000 MT mark. Our proactive cost management measures helped protect our margins, in spite of coking coal price increases and rupee depreciation. Favourable market demand signals are encouraging us to expand our steel and casting capacities. Going forward, our focus remains on leveraging our newly commissioned solar energy capacity and key expansion projects to further enhance our cost competitiveness.”

For the first half of the financial year (YTD FY27), standalone revenue reached Rs 3,818 crore, reflecting an 11 percent increase over Rs 3,453 crore in the previous year. Consolidated financial results mirrored standalone metrics for Q2 FY27, with revenue at Rs 2,047 crore and PBT at Rs 138 crore. Financial figures for previous quarters were restated following the merger of Oliver Engineering Private Limited and Adicca Energy Solutions Private Limited with the company.
